I have a little Christmas story for you. It is centered around Ecclesiastes 11:1, which says 'Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days,' and means that if you give charitably, you will get just as much back.
My grandma gives each of us 15$ for charity each Christmas. One year we each used it to buy toys for a poorer family, who had children our age. We bought some tools, a toy cat, and a lego set, and that Christmas we each got almost the exact same thing that we gave.
